PSI Seminars facilitator Courtland Warren talks about Motivation

Motivation

Are you motivated or are you inspired? Motivation is what comes from outside of you, and inspiration is generated from within. On this month’s PSI Teleseminar, Courtland Warren shared with us how to uncover the inspiration you need to achieve the transformation you desire:

  • Determine whether your goal or desire is in alignment with your higher purpose.
  • Understanding why you want to achieve a goal will help you overcome the obstacles that stand in your way.
  • Only share your goals and dreams with people who are in alignment with your highest good.

Motivation is fleeting, it is not designed to last. To achieve lasting transformation, seek inspiration to help you sustain yourself through the process. When you are inspired to achieve your goals and desires, you can keep yourself in high gear and achieve all that you dream.

PSI Seminars facilitator Tim O’Kelley talks about Trust

Trust

Trust is one of the essential building blocks to creating great relationships. But before trust can be found around us, it must be found inside of us. To achieve and sustain trust, you must first have faith and commitment in yourself.

During Tuesday’s PSI Teleseminar, Tim O’Kelley shared with callers how to become a trustworthy person through:

Integrity – Always follow through with what you say you are going to do. Be someone other people can count on.

Communication – Be transparent in your communication and express yourself openly and honestly.

Consistency – Be who you are, don’t hide or change yourself in each situation.

Take a stand – Be committed to what you are passionate about and fight for what matters to you.

Respect – Respect yourself and don’t allow others to disrespect you.

By trusting yourself and being willing to take a risk with others, you can create a renewed sense of support and wellbeing. Communicating openly and understanding the value of integrity and consistency can help you create a lasting, productive relationship with yourself, as well as with others.

PSI Seminars Area Director Carson Johns talks about Overcoming Rejection

Overcoming Rejection

The fear of rejection is one of our deepest human fears. Biologically wired with a longing to belong, we fear being seen in a critical way. We want to be accepted and it hurts to be rejected. So how can you overcome a hardwired fear of being rejected?

During Tuesday’s PSI Teleseminar, Carson Johns shared with callers how to understand rejection and learn to move past it:

Desire to do something about it. You have to see something beyond the fear that is holding you back. Use that desire to pull yourself through the uncomfortable hurt of being rejected.

Know that it is not always going to work out. There will always be rejection in your life. Learn to see past the fleeting hurt and acknowledge that the great things in life often come from these trials.

Don’t let rejection effect your self-esteem. When somebody rejects you, they are acting on their own insecurities and fears. Don’t let other people’s thoughts or feelings be the gauge for your self-esteem.

Change your internal dialogue about rejection. Instead of focusing on the worst-case scenario, think about what you want to happen. Invite confidence rather than self-doubt and focus on the good that can come from the situation.

Be bigger than your fear of rejection. As you become more confident and less afraid of what you are experiencing inside, you will become less intimidated by rejection and more empowered to take risks and live the life you desire.
