3 Simple Steps to Attract Your Ideal Relationship

For those looking for love, the new year offers a wonderful opportunity to examine what it is you desire from a relationship and what you’re willing to do to create it. Instead of searching for the man or woman of your dreams, direct your focus inward, and begin attracting your perfect partner by following these 3 simple steps.

1. Envision Your Ideal Relationship

A great place to start attracting your perfect partner is to envision your ideal relationship. As you do this, you will start to become clear on what it is you need to feel happy, connected, and fulfilled by your relationship.

What are the qualities you desire in a partner? Be specific and actually write down what it is you seek. Ask yourself why these qualities are important to you. Are you limiting yourself by focusing on attributes dictated by a program or previous experience that no longer serves you? What qualities are non-negotiable? Take a look at your list and notice whether or not you are displaying the traits you desire in a partner. If not, focus on how you can cultivate these qualities within yourself.

What are your deal breakers? Just as you wrote your desired qualities and noted which are non-negotiable, it’s equally important to be aware of your non-negotiable deal breakers, meaning those attributes that you will not accept in a relationship. As before, notice if you are displaying any of the qualities that you don’t want in a partner.

Knowing this information makes it easy to spot “the one” when he or she enters your life!

2. Create a Vision Board

Once you have defined your vision, bring it one step closer to becoming a reality with a vision board. Poster board, magazine clippings, and your imagination are all you’ll need to create this fun and powerful relationship-attracting tool. Choose images and phrases that represent your ideal relationship and create a collage that you can place in your home where you will see it every day.

Take a moment to look at your vision board each day and consider what action steps you can take to bring your vision to life. Commit yourself to taking those steps each and every day.

3. Set Goals

One of the best things you can do to ensure that you are moving towards your vision of an intimate relationship is to set goals. Your vision board will support you by providing ample inspiration and keeping you focused on what is truly important to you.

To ensure your success, set SMART goals – specific, measurable, attainable, risky, and timely. Instead of making vague commitments such as to “go on more dates”, declare your goal as “go on five dates by February 20th”. Goals created using the SMART format provide you with greater accountability, which will support you in manifesting your intention faster and easier.
